Kathmandu, 10 December: Above 1000 earthquake victims in Jajarkot and Rukum West, spending nights under the tents felt sick due to the cold.
They have not been able to get government-provided relief support for the construction of temporary shelters.
The government has already allotted 50 thousand rupees each and is instantly providing 25 thousand rupees in advance for the construction of temporary shelters for the victims whose houses have collapsed. The second instalment will be provided after the construction of the shelters. However, the local bodies have not provided the funds to all the victims.
Already, 32 victims have been reported to be dead due to the cold, reports the Annapurna Post daily.
