Kathmandu, 2 December: The government has decided to accept $20 million grant assistance from the World Bank for the Food and Nutrition Security Project.
Informing about the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers on, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said the government has also decided to accept the grant support worth Rs 650 million rupees for the development of the education sector.
The government has decided to deploy the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel to construct temporary houses for earthquake victims in Jajarkot.
Minister Sharma informed that the Chief District Officer has authorized to depute the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel after taking a decision from the District Security Committee if there is a shortage of manpower for the construction of temporary houses.
Minister Sharma said that the decision of the District Security Committee has decided to direct the concerned bodies to provide necessary human resources from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force immediately.
