Kathmandu, 24 November: A group of people in Birgunj, expressing solidarity with Durga Prasain launched Mega Campaign, organized a demonstration rally in Birgunj on Thursday, coinciding with the Prasain group’s rally in Kathmandu.
They demanded the scrapping of republicanism, federalism, and secularism by restoring the 1990 constitution, which ensures a multiparty democracy with a Hindu kingdom.
Addressing the rally converted into an assembly at the Ghantaghar Square in Birgunj, speakers said that the present constitution has become expensive for the nation, which has destroyed the nation, thus, it should be scrapped.
