Kathmandu, 14 November: The government’s decision to ban Tiktak has been criticized by all sectors. Even political leaders from the Nepali Congress, including Gagan Thapa, Bishwaprakash Sharma, and Guru Mainali, have condemned the government’s decision.
Moreover, opposition party UML and Rastriya Prjatantra Party, Rastriya Swatantra Party, among others, have condemned the ban on TikTok.
Political analyst Bharat Dahal has remarked that the government’s decision to ban TikToik is a move to please the Indo-West bosses by the parties in the government as Tiktak has been developed by China.
RPP-Nepal chair Kamal Thapa has stated that the intention of the government behind banning TikTak is to hide the government and leaders’ rampant corruption, bad governance and anomalies.
