
Kathmandu, 11 November: Two earthquake-displaced people in Nalgad Municipality, Jajarkot District, Gopalbahadur Raut, 84, and Pampha Rawal, 48, died of cold in two days — Thursday and Friday.
They were unable to get relief materials and spent nights under the sky after their houses were demolished by the earthquake on 3 November.
Senior citizen Gopal Bahadur was a patient with asthma. Due to the lack of warm clothes and warm shelter, he died.
Pampha Rawal died of phenomena, according to the report. Rawal’s house was also demolished by the earthquake.
Senior citizens, puerpera women, infant children, and patients suffering from old diseases have been affected by the cold in the earthquake-hit areas, reports state.
