Kathmandu, November 4: Former King Gyanendra has expressed deep sorrow over the human and physical damage caused by the strong earthquake in Jajarkot and Rukum West in Karnali Province.
Paying tribute to those who lost their lives, the former King has extended heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of those who have been injured by the earthquake.
“We are worried about the human and physical loss caused by the earthquake”, the King has said.
The King has expressed concern about the frequent earthquakes that are taking place. In such a situation, there should have been proper precautions, alerts, and rescue and relief management.
He has urged the state government to conduct relief and rescue operations timely and properly.
The King has said that the state government and politics should be focused on prompt rescue, relief, and welfare work.
