UML to quit government in Koshi Province

Kathmandu, November 3: After Chief Minister Kedar Karki appointed new ministers from the Maoist Center and Unified Socialist Party, the UML has decided to quit the government.

UML’s Parliamentary Party leader Hikmatkumar Karki said that the UML is not going to take part in the coalition government. 

He said that the Chief Minister has neither informed nor consulted with the UML about the latest development.

Karki said, “We are not going to be part of the dirty alliance of the central government. 

Ram Bahadur Rana is the minister from the UML in the provincial government.

NC’s rebel candidate, Kedar Karki, had become the chief minister with the support of the UML.
