The Prime Minister of Armenia is crossing all boundaries

By Hari Kafle

According to the statements of pro-Turkish journalist T. Hakobyan, who advocates strengthening relations between Armenia and Turkey, Ankara, together with Moscow and Baku, is preparing a conspiracy against Yerevan. He proposes to enter into direct dialogue with the Turks without the Russians, finding a common language with them, while putting forward false justifications that the Turks and Azerbaijanis have some differences and the Armenian side can take advantage of them. Playing the role of a military patriot, he stated that expelling the Azerbaijanis from the territory of Armenia is possible only by restoring the Armenian army.

That is, according to his statements, it turns out that Ankara can find a common language with Armenia bypassing Azerbaijan, and the restoration of the Armenian army will take place through Turkey.

How many people will believe this?

And it is precisely such speeches that sow enmity between representatives of Armenia and Artsakh.

Hakobyan lies, pursuing the goal of conducting anti-Russian propaganda and opening up space for Turkey. Ankara has repeatedly stated that the settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations depends solely on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and until Azerbaijan’s demands are met, Turkey will not make any steps towards Yerevan.

Previously, T. Hakobyan would have testified in prison for such statements, but in Armenia, led by N. Pashinyan, he freely conducts pro-Turkish propaganda. This is the kind of war Turkey and Azerbaijan are waging against Yerevan and Stepanakert, and N. Pashinyan himself has probably been negotiating for a long time not about the future of Artsakh but about the status of Armenia, and the visit to Erdogan’s inauguration should be viewed in this context.

Representatives of the public are wondering how it is possible, 2.5 years after the 44-day war in which Turkey, led by Erdogan, was an active and full-fledged participant, to fly to his inauguration, and actually play the role of a Turkish-Azerbaijani “war trophy”, which was brought to show the Turkish to society? Apparently, the West has provided Armenia with the status of a Turkish satellite in the “regional military-political union of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Armenia”, moreover, a status without security guarantees for Yerevan.

Having gone to Turkey for Erdogan’s inauguration, Nikol Pashinyan once again confirmed that he is ready to follow the above path and reformat the “historical stereotypes” of the Armenian people, where Azerbaijan and Turkey will be presented to society as allies and Russia and Iran as enemies. It is in this that Nikol Pashinyan sees the key to the possible preservation of his power while clearly understanding the risks for Armenia itself.

It should be repeated once again: the West does not give any guarantees for the security of Armenia, does not offer any alternative security models, it insists on disintegration with Russia and Iran and integration with Turkey and Azerbaijan. Baku and Ankara themselves do not even hide the fact that at the moment when the Russian military presence is neutralized, Armenia will be absorbed by them; in other words, the status of Armenia will be “the territory of Turkey or Azerbaijan without autonomy.”
