Youths in the streets demanding political change.
Biratnagar: The stage is set for the tumultuous political change once again in Nepal.
The anticipated political cataclysm, this time, shall not invite the alien forces to meddle in Nepal’s affairs.
This in itself is both puzzling and satisfactory or else India has ever remained instrumental in buying the contemporary Nepali leaders to foment troubles in Nepal (better say the entire neighboring countries) and later jumps into the troubled waters as an arbitrator and needless to say its negotiation has never ever benefited Nepal, so claims Dr. Manzoor Naazer, a distinguished scholar from neighboring Pakistan, in his article on South Asian politics.
This process continued beginning in the early 1950s and India-born 1947, has squeezed Nepal umpteen times to the extent that an unequal bilateral treaty governs Nepal-India bilateral ties which has almost turned Nepal into an undeclared colony of the former British slaves.
It was the century-long slavery and a highly insulting then-Indian past that the British-India has had to endure, the newly independent Indian republic prefers to impose its dictates on the most unfortunate neighbor that South Asian countries have.
It was not for nothing that the sitting Chinese Ambassador Chen Song had recently said in a Kathmandu gathering, “It is unfortunate for Nepal to have a neighbor like India”.
China spoke Nepali pain.
If China feels Nepal’s continued pain then let’s guess what pains Nepal may have tolerated since the early days of the 1950s more so after signing the most unfortunate and damaging Nepal-India bilateral Treaty of 1950.
Instead, the change, we just talked about in earlier paragraphs will be a change spontaneous for sure one largely initiated by two sturdy forces: one internal and the second one naturally the external one-excluding India, the South Asian menace.
However, we mean by external, the force which largely remained as a mere onlooker to the political change designed, sponsored and funded by the Indian Congress led then by the Italian Queen, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, the de facto ruler of India aka Bharat aka Hindustan after the tragic killing of her Air-India Pilot turned flamboyant political man Rajiv Gandhi.
Gandhi when alive and active in Indian politics was hand in glove with the then Pakistani Prime Minister Ms. Benazir Bhutto, nick-named the illustrious daughter of the East.
Rajiv Gandhi and Ms. Benazir Bhutto once had “intimate” relations with each other allowing South Asian wayward intellectuals to suspect their artificial intimacy given the fact that India had never been friendly towards Pakistan since the very next day of the Grand Partition in 1947.
Ms. Bhutto was kind towards Gandhi amazingly.
Both considered themselves as second to none in South Asia to which they were surely not.
Needless to say, both were highly arrogant and paid the overdue price.
Playboy-turned-politician Gandhi out of sheer foolishness sent the Indian military men, the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) in Sri Lanka to tame its own brainchild the Tamil Tigers who damaged the economic stamina of Sri Lanka a la Delhi sheltered Nepali Maoists.
Later talking to this scribe almost two decades ago or so, the then-Indian foreign secretary J. N. Dixit (late) admitted that the sending of the Indian military men to Colombo was India’s historical blunder.
One Sri Lankan navy guard hit Rajiv Gandhi hard in his head and the Indian PM rushed back to Delhi the next second after being “taught a lesson” in Colombo which spoke of India’s hatred in Colombo.
Junius Jaywerdeney was then Sri Lankan President who was a senior political personality but could not resist the Indian hegemony.
It was only Prime Minister Ranasinghe Premdasa, (born June 23, 1924) then ninth Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, who challenged India by stating that until Sri Lankan soil had the presence of Indian military men, no SAARC Summits would be held in Colombo.
India took back its military men from Colombo after this warning.
It was this intimacy, Bhutto and Gandhi, or whatever it was in between the two that both dared tentatively to insult and humiliate Nepal’s sitting King Birendra who was in Islamabad to attend the SAARC Summit being held in Pakistan, I recall.
She was the daughter of Monsieur Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who kept his promise that soon Pakistan, his country would have nuclear capability.
Pakistan thus owes to the late Bhutto the Nuclear competence matching to the rival India.
It is this Pakistani nuclear potential that has kept South Asia so far safe or else South Asia may have a different political trend.
Allow me to touch upon slightly one interesting rumor which was then in the early seventies, more or less when Mrs. Gandhi and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto were in Shimla and the long unresolved Kashmir imbroglio was about to take its final settlement course between India and Pakistan, and the rumor was that both Mrs. Gandhi and Mr. Bhutto was as intimate as anything.
It was later called the Shimla Agreement, July 2nd. 1972, signed between Mr. Bhutto and Mrs. Gandhi.
However, the rumors died in due course of time when Indian machinations bifurcated Pakistan and a new country “Bangladesh” emerged in South Asia.
However, Dhaka of late appears to have inched closer to China and some high-placed political intellectuals talk highly of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), much to the mental tension to the one which created Bangladesh.
Change in Maldives:
Now with the change of political guard in the Maldives, let’s hope that India’s exit from Male is dead sure with the renewed entrance of China.
The new Maldivian Prime Minister is a man highly critical of India and in all likelihood well in his tenure as PM; the “Indian Military Out campaign” will see a brighter end of it all.
But yet, to blunt Dhaka’s inner intent to world with China, India invited Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the G20 meet held in New Delhi, September 9-10, 2023.
Needless to say, the R&AW, the Indian spy agency, the brainchild of Madame Gandhi and later nursed by Rajiv Gandhi created terror in Canada only recently reportedly Killing a Sikh Canadian national.
So if B’desh remains loyal and submits to the Indian dictates, despite China’s efforts in luring the country, it must not come as a surprise. Blood is thicker than water.
Back to the main story:
So talking about the probable political change, I predict, would be a smooth transfer of power to the one from whom the State authority was stripped some two decades ago.
Interestingly, in that event if and when that happens indeed, the Nepal Army which appears to have derailed to some extent from its charted, stipulated and bounden duties since the merciless killing of late King Birendra and his entire family members will have to yield to the pressure from the mass uprising in favor of the unceremoniously India deposed King Gyanendra around the year 2005-6 through an India designed and funded turmoil.
The Nepal Army even unwillingly will have to support the sea of population out in the streets demanding the reinstatement of King Gyanendra.
Many suspect the very credentials of the Nepal Army though.
All these events were impulsive in that the people after the ouster of the Nepali monarchy delivered as per their commitments at the time of the India-sponsored political turmoil which saw the active attendance of India-paid and posted Nepali agents with Indian heart and soul but in possession of the Nepali citizenship certificates.
Albeit, what was shameful was the active participation of some tainted and painted Nepali media men in the payroll of the RAW machinations in Kathmandu.
One Nepali media man, then stationed in New Delhi as a journalist working for Indian newspapers was specially sent to Kathmandu by Indian foreign secretary Shyam Saran to head a widely circulated Nepali newspaper (Daily) in Nepal and that too owned by an Indian national (it has been made public only recently) and through the Daily to foment troubles for the sitting King Gyanendra.
I recall this India-sent journalist-informer was beaming with ecstatic pleasure when a Court verdict went against the then King.
India bent Nepali media man was perhaps the happiest man on earth that day when the Court gave a judgment in the Daily’s favor.
A victory demonstration, I am the witness myself, right in Anamnagar which shouted derogatory slogans against the sitting Monarch, King Gyanendra.
Indian moles/recruited men loiter in Kathmandu with differing and attractive masks, however, once an agent and that too of India, the enemy regime, is ever an agent, this is my conclusion. I am confident in my conclusion.
It is this set of Indian agents/moles/spies who will invite Sikkimisation of this country sooner than later.
Back to the point:
Encouraged by King Gyanendra’s extraordinary felicitations deserving to a sitting King in the Crown, albeit a voluntary one, the vast populace of Lalitpur and Kathmandu districts on their own have decided to honor their deposed King simply to send signals to India elevated leaders that their days were numbered and that they should pack their belongings either to India or for the country of their preferred choice and seek permanent residency.
Observing the Bhaktapur felicitation of the King in recent weeks, the men who pose that they were close to the Monarch and the deposed Monarchy (in fact they are not but playing tricks with the King) are hell-bent on proving themselves more Christians than the Christ himself.
However, the one who has in recent months been vocal for the people’s cause is yet another dubious professional (mafia?) from the medical sector Durga Prasai whose political past is needless to say ugly and dirty.
His political flirtation began with the Maoists and then he switched to the UML and is dissatisfied with his former political connections now appears to be close to King Gyanendra as if he is the one who has promised to restore the monarchy sooner than later.
His premise is based on the presumption that since the population stands deeply dissatisfied and hence is against the current proxy of the Indian regime which makes him sure that mere efforts from his side or for that matter adherents shall in all likelihood catapult the political system imposed by the Indian regime and its domestic Lendup Dorjes’.
Durga Prasai, one has to admit, too has a not-so-good past in that his flamboyant is what the people in general dislike to the hilt.
But since the system run by India’s proxy now has earned the fame of a rotten egg/apple and thus there is a real urge that mother Nepal must be freed from the continued Indian hegemony that is ever the last one being Indian PM Modi sneaking into the Nepali territory, close to China’s border, in the Western end of the country uninvited.
So India and its uneducated Prime Minister are a permanent threat to Nepal’s independence and sovereignty.
What Mani Shankar Iyer, the veteran political man from the Indira Congress (India) openly says is perhaps correct.
Iyer takes PM, Modi, as the biggest fool ever India has given birth to.
That he is a fool of the highest order becomes true when he sneaks into Nepal and that too when he is an undesirable man across Nepal save his spoons/hangers-on and paid agents from the RAW payroll.
It is this Modi’s foolishness that the entire Indian regime is paying for his jocular utterances only to be liked by the Godi-media-the media men under the funding of PM Modi’s private secretariat.
US President Biden while raising a toast recently cut a joke at PM Modi for PM Modi was not taught the international etiquette as and when a toast is raised by some dignitary.
PM Modi’s brazen act of insulting Nepal must be penalized by China if it really cares for Nepal’s sovereignty.
China too is almost an unreliable partner of Nepal as we have explained many times in the past.
The erratic act of PM Modi’s entrance into Nepali landmass must prompt China to pounce upon India much the same way as it did in 1962.
What if Modi one fine morning enters into Chinese landmass to tease China? Will China hush-hush the matter?
Or else China should stop making tall claims that it stands for the preservation of Nepal’s sovereignty.
The imminent change and the China factor:
Highly placed sources say that China, Nepal’s Northern neighbor, is planning big for Nepal.
Some even claim that on September 17, 2023, one special emissary (Ambassador at large) met King Gyanendra at his Maharajganj Palace, the abode of the Nepal King.
It was the second meeting of President Xi’s special envoy with the King.
What transpired between the two is yet unknown, however, sources say that President Xi’s representative slightly hinted at the Chinese pains from Nepali soil with the increased activities of the US and India individually and in a combined manner through the Indo-US axis, e.g. the Millennium Compact Project plus the SPP.
China concludes that the US increased efforts are nothing but to contain or encircle China with the South Asian rival, India, Nepal’s unfortunate neighbor as per the sitting Chinese Ambassador Chen Song who only recently said that it was unfortunate that Nepal has a neighbor like India, as mentioned earlier.
This applies to the entire South Asian countries that unfortunately border India, the South Asian menace that it is.
The September 17, 2023, meeting of Xi’s emissary and King Gyanendra is well timed with the “final and total” rejection of the Indo-pendent leaders currently ruling Nepal.
Durga Prasai could indeed be one auxiliary tool for the probable political change, the revival of the Nepal King Gyanendra.
It is only the Newars of Kathmandu valley that has ever brought about a political change in Nepal.
However, this time the political tornado or say the political blizzard is expected to sweep not only the Indian machinations from Nepal but also the ones who were all set to Sikkimise Nepal instead of being appointed as Chief Minister of the annexed Nepal Province.
The angered people were most likely to repeat the Sri Lankan chaotic event wherein the domestic population chased the corrupt Sri Lankan Leaders.
Nepal’s corrupt communist leaders together with the stinking Nepali Congress’s corrupt political animals are also on the list awaiting severe and unimaginable penal actions.
Some highly corrupt India-blessed-leaders perhaps will quit the country if and when they conclude that their longer stay in Nepal is neither desirable nor attractive.
The emergence of a benevolent dictator is round the corner.
Just wait for the end of the approaching festivals and the beginning of the early winter.
Have patience! That’s all.
