Kathmandu, 26 August: C.P. Gajurel. Leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party, said that MCC should not only be cancelled but also be returned from Nepal.
Speaking at an interaction programme organized to discuss, “MCC cancellation or return”, in Kathmandu, communist leader Gajurel said that the adoption of the MCC is an act against the nation’s interests.
“If the political parties deny implementation of MCC, the agreement can be scrapped”, Gajurel remarked.
He further said that the political parties have committed a serious crime against the nation by approving the MCC from Parliament.
MCC (Millennium Challenge Corporation) is a controversial American grant project.
