Kathmandu, 30 June: Deputy Speaker Indira Rana is going to China. Rana will go to Guangzhou, China on 7 July to participate in a program related to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Rana is leading a five-member team. Sources said that the team will include three MPs and an employee of the Parliament Secretariat. Rana was elected as the deputy speaker as a proportional member of parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
Rana is scheduled to address a programme there. According to sources, there will be a sideline meeting between Deputy Speaker Rana and Chinese government officials.
