The government is investigating the scam of sending Nepali nationals to the USA and other countries disguised as Bhutanese refugees. High-ranking political leaders including the former deputy prime minister, former home minister, former home secretary and others are under Police custody on the allegation of their involvement in trafficking of the Nepali citizens to the USA by developing fake documents.
We don’t believe that the present government has the courage for initiating an investigation into the scam having the involvement of top leaders. Even Nepali Congress MP and spouse of former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Arzu Rana said that she was informed about a serious concern of the American crime control agency FBI. There are over a dozen big and serious scams that have taken place within one decade in the country but the governments either disappeared the evidence or the culprits have got clean chit. After the 1990 “people’s movement” Nepal has turned into a haven for those corrupts and criminals. In the meantime, the government became serious and initiated an investigation into the fake Bhutanese refugee case. Understandably, the government, under the pressure of the invisible alien forces has been compelled for conducting the investigation.
During the UML central committee meeting last week, leaders close to UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli, such as Gokul Banskota, Mahesh Basnet, and others, opined for the removal of the present provincial structure and district coordination committees by empowering local organs. They also remarked on removing the secular status by introducing religious independence in the country. They were correct that the provincial structure was unable to prove its significance and it became an additional financial burden for the government. We believe this idea was floated by none other than UML chair Oli. But the next day, perhaps, he received a warning from the invisible alien power, he declined to respond to the views expressed by his close aides.
Clearly, the central bank has warned the government saying that the increasing debt burden could be a serious threat for the government. As the non-productive sector expenditure of the government has increased tremendously due to the introduction of the seven provinces, the present revenue source is unable to meet the expenditure and the government is compelled for raising debt both domestically and globally even to pay salaries of the civil servicemen. There is no way out except by reducing non-productive sector expenditure. If the government fails to manage the fund for expenditure, the debt burden will continue to incline and reach a situation where it will be unable to pay back debts.
We didn’t experience the British colonial rule but we are aware how the colonial ruler exploited the underdeveloped countries. The Indians followed the same strategy in exploiting neighbouring nations. We can say that the present Indo-West strategy is based on keeping those underdeveloped nations poor and continuously exploiting them. Under the strategy of keeping Nepal a permanently poor nation, the present federal structure has been introduced. Moreover, with the plan of pushing the nation into a civil war, the idea of caste and class discrimination and secularism have been planted in this peaceful nation.
As we know, the political leaders of the day have exhibited their slavery mentality the invisible alien forces have become active and powerful. Viewing the recent developments, we are unable to say that we hold a sovereign and independent status.
