We saw a large and spontaneous crowd of people gathered in Inarwa, Sunsari district, to greet former King Gyanendra. Some patriotic groups had organized a civic reception in honour of the former King. We know, those pro-monarchy and pro-nation forces are divided into different groups. If all of them become united, it will be a strong force for the reinstatement of the Hindu kingdom without any delay. If all the patriotic forces become united for a greater cause of saving the nation, none of the forces can stop a change. Sure, unless all the patriotic forces remain divided into different factions, those alien forces will be able to exploit our nation. Hence, there is an urgency for becoming united all the groups loving this nation. Meanwhile, addressing the mass in Inarwa, the former King has remarked that stability is not possible in the country in absence of an appropriate political system, peace and discipline in the society.
He also said that efforts have been made by some sections for fragmentation of our society by influencing different groups through cash and posts, among others, and urged for strengthening nationalism, national unity, national pride, national indivisibility, sovereignty and independence.
Remarkably, the former King didn’t forget to denounce the present system saying, “Raw and superficial changes in the name of an offensive move will not give fruitful results”.
Indeed, we have entered into a dark tunnel, where, there is no sign of light. Indeed, there is no outlet except from returning to the point from where the present journey started. Whether we want the dissolution of a sovereign nation or the existence of a sovereign and independent nation, is up to the patriotic Nepali people.
