
Kathmandu, 11 April: The Nepal Airlines management has suspended its operation director senior pilot Capt. Rabindra Kumar Sherchan for the time being for further investigation.
As senior captain Sherchan was found responsible for being unable to operate Kathmandu-Dubai-Kathmandu scheduled flight on 1 April causing a huge loss to the Corporation, he has been suspended for the time being for further investigation, NAC has stated.
The scheduled flight to Dubai was cancelled on 1 April after the first officer reported sick and the NAC Operation Department was found unable to manage an additional pilot immediately.
