Ram, Ram!

BABBLES

By Babbler

Ramchandra Paudel, who was defeated 17 times in the election of the prime minister, was considered an unlucky person. However, he became a lucky guy from being elected to the post of President.

Another Ram, Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, became the Vice President.

With the election of the President and VP, both Rams, one may assume a Ramrajya (exemplary good governance), unfortunately, it is unlikely. Paudel is writing his name with black words in the history book by putting his signature on the citizenship amendment bill. It is sure.

17-connection

Ramchandra Paudel, who had defeated the PM’s election 17 times has become the President with the support of the Maoist Center, which came to the power following the comprehensive peace agreement. During the armed insurgency which lasted for ten years, 17 thousand of Nepalis were killed. There is an interesting connection between 17 numbers at present in Nepal.

The state of education

The government and community-run schools have been ruined after the political intervention. The campuses and colleges are not aloof from political intervention. Partisan politics and sharing of important posts by different political parties have ruined Tribhuvan University and other universities. The government-funded universities have become the victim of partisan politics. Genuine students go to private colleges for a better education. Those mediocre students go to government-run universities with the plan of becoming political leaders.

The government funding to the educational sector has thus been misused. If the political parties stop running student organizations affiliated with the party and if the university officials are assigned on a meritocracy basis ending the assignment of the party workers, the educational sector could be improved. Moreover, party organizations in the government service should also be suspended.

Don’t make the educational sector a venue to produce political leaders.

The parents wanted to meet their pregnant daughter Shruti. The couple reached their daughter’s house in Thamel on the walk. A photographer secretly took pictures and it was published in the Kantipur daily.

It is an episode from the pages of history as VVIP rides and frills have become the subject of public interest and debate in recent times.

We should not see anything with jaundiced eyes.

Dr. Rambhakta Thakur

  • The price of electricity imported through power exchange is Rs 12 per unit and up to Rs 20 in the competitive market. Nepal Electricity Authority procures up to Rs 7.20 to 8.40 per unit during the dry season from the private sector. Unfortunately, 50% of the electricity is still imported during the dry season although claimed for being self-sufficient by 2022.

  • King Birendra was truly graceful, gentle and simple. I have never seen a person as easy and kind as him in my life. He was totally different and a symbol of peace apart from the pride of the throne. He is a character I have respect for him.

Unfortunately, crooked politics swallowed up such unique decency.

Hasta Gurung

  • The movement of 2062/63 BS was not against the monarchy, it was against the move of the king on Magh 19, the agitators wanted to choose the prime minister.

  • Giving the status of national martyrs to those who lost their lives while involved in terrorist activities is a matter of shame. Is this the beauty of the republic?

Manavi Paudel

  • Baburam Bhattaraiji had said in front of us that the funds released in the name of the fighters in the cantonment were directly misused. 10-12 years ago, a complaint was filed in the CIAA along with the evidence.

I have proof that Bhattaraiji himself had blamed for taking 9 billion rupees as a bribe from the Budhigandaki hydropower project.

Why had CIAA denied investigating these files?

Ananda Ram Paudel

  • Please don’t include members of my family, who fought against the terrorists, in the list of terrorist martyrs.
