MBL customers get digital facility for fuel payments

Kathmandu, 21 March: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited (MBL) customers can now pay for petroleum products through digital means. The customers of MBL will get such a facility following an agreement with Nepal Petroleum Dealers National Association regarding digital payment services.
The digital payment agreement was signed by Lilendra Prasad Pradhan, President of the Association and Santosh Koirala, Chief Executive Officer of MBL.
According to the agreement, MBL will facilitate the use of POS, QR and other digital payment devices at petrol pumps affiliated with theAassociation. MBL customers can pay for the purchase of fuel through a digital platform in a simple and reliable manner.
Following the agreement, CEO Koirala said that in accordance with the bank’s strategy to support the green economy, the bank was coordinating with various organizations for digital transaction.
