‘Appropriate policy interventions required to rebound economy’

Kathmandu, 21 March: Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Senior vice-president of the Federation of Nepali Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has said that  the country’s economy has slightly improved and can be put on the right track with appropriate policy interventions.

“Let’s make policy arrangements based on the economy that seems to be improving,” he said while addressing the opening ceremony of the Sixth Provincial Assembly of FNCCI  in Pokhara on Monday.

Senior Vice President Dhakal further said, “Now some indicators of the economy are seen as positive. Remittances have increased. The number of foreign tourists has increased. Liquidity in the bank has also increased. Therefore, if we can move forward with a new policy system based on this, we can overcome the problems of the current problems of economy.”
