Kathmandu, 7 March: Due to the negligence of the concerned sector, the Nepal government’s property belonging to the Nepal Railway in Raxul, Bihar, India, bordering town of Nepal’s Parsa District has remained stranded for decades.
The Nepal government had procured 20 bighas of land from the British India government for the operation of the cross-border railway service from Raxul to Nepal. The Nepal government’s property is being encroached on due to the negligence of the concerned sector, reports Gorkhapatra daily.
It will cost billions of rupees at present for that precious land owned by Nepal in 1920.
