
Kathmandu, 6 March: The national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is preparing to fly directly to South Korea from Nepal.
Archana Khadka, the spokesperson of the Corporation, informed that the process has been started to fly to Incheon International Airport in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
For this purpose, a 10-member safety audit sub-committee has been formed under the coordination of the Corporation’s Deputy General Manager (Technical) Engineer Vikram KC. The safety, engineering and other departments of the Corporation are comprised in the committee.
The Civil Aviation Authority under South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) will conduct a safety audit before permitting flights to South Korea. For the preparation of the same, the sub-committee has been formed on behalf of the Corporation and is about to start work, informed Khadka, the spokesperson of the Corporation.
