Kathmandu, 17 February: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has said that the country’s economy is not in a sound position. Speaking at the gathering of businessmen in Dhangadi today, Minister Poudel said that the nation is facing financial problems and the problems should be resolved through consultations with all the sectors.
Minister Poudel said that the decline in production and decline in exports have created problem in the nation’s economy. He urged the businessmen for maintaining patience in such a crisis period.
The Minister also said that he is in consultation with different sectors for reducing the bank interest rate.
