A mega campaign has been launched from Nepal’s eastern border point, Mechi River in Kakarvitta on 13 February to save the nation, nationalism, religion, culture and citizens. In the presence of thousands of patriotic citizens, former King Gyanendra unveiled the mega campaign coordinated by UML leader and social serviceman Durga Prasain. Coincidently, the Maoist Center-led government was observing the “people’s war” day by announcing a national holiday, meanwhile, the former King launched the mega campaign to save the nation from the present crisis.
Coordinator Durga Prasain said that the country is passing through a crisis, therefore, the mega campaign has been launched to save the country.
Prasain claimed that the present political system is intended to collapse the sovereign nation Nepal, therefore, a movement is needed to return to the era of the 1990 constitution essential to save the nation. The “revolutionary” leaders committed a blunder under the foreigners’ instruction by introducing a new political structure, which is going to finish the Nepali identity, Parsain said.
Patriotic leader Keshar Bista, the main campaigner, Rashtriya Shakti Nepal, expressed the view that he has full support for the mega campaign for a good cause.
It is said that above 40 thousand people were gathered at the assembly also attended by former Crown Prince Paras and other members of the Royal Family.
Change is imminent:
In the beginning, when those “revolutionaries” signed the 12-point Delhi agreement, we were perhaps very few people to say it was an unholy and unnatural alliance among the political parties. Obviously, the result of such an unholy alliance has become counterproductive for the nation and the people. Today, hundreds of thousands of Nepalis have come down to the streets condemning the present political structure.
We have been saying that if continued the present political system further, the country will surely collapse. Prasain, the coordinator of the campaign, a UML leader by political belief, has also remarked the same.
Prasain said that the mega campaign has been launched for a change and the campaign started from the east Mechi River and will continue to the west Mahakali River and also in Kathmandu.
We wish for the success of the campaign as we are among those who want to save the nation.
Astonishingly, the mainstream media have tried to wipe out the successful event in Kakarvitta. No odd, they are guided by the alien elements.
