Kathmandu, 28 January: Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Senior Vice President of Federation of Nepali Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has said that FNCCI was always ready to work in the interest of local entrepreneurs.
Addressing the 23rd and 24th Annual General Meetings of Itahari Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the chief guest, Senior Vice President Dhakal expressed his commitment that FNCCI would move forward with the agenda of the private sector and that the it will stand by the district/city industrialists’ associations in every agenda of the private sector.
“After some time, I will become the president of the FNCCI. I want to express to you that it will firmly support every agenda that you raise. I will be with you personally. If the business friends of the district/city bring any feasible plan, it will be my responsibility to advance it nationally/internationally,” he said.
On a different context, Dhakal, who is also the chairman of Global IME Bank, said that the interest rate of loans is not under the control of any individual bank and financial institution or regulatory body.
