As of Wednesday, Bagmati, Gandaki and Province1 have formed new governments.
In Province1, Hikmat Kumar Karki of CPN-UML took the oath of office and secrecy from Province Chief Parshuram Khapung on Monday.
After taking the oath, Chief Minister Karki formed a four-member cabinet in the province.
Similarly, CPN (UML)’s Parliamentary Party leader of Gandaki Province Khagaraj Adhikari has been appointed the Chief Minister (CM) of the province.
Gandaki Province Chief Prithvi Man Gurung appointed Adhikari as the CM of the province as per Article 168 (2) of the constitution on Monday.
Out of 60 provincial members in the Gandaki Province, 33 members have supported Adhikari as the CM of the province.
In Bagmati Province CPN (Maoist Centre) Parliamentary Party leader of the province Shalikram Jamkattel has been appointed the chief minister of the Bagmati Province.
Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma appointed Jamkattel as Chief Minister of the Bagmati Province as per Article 168 (2) of the constitution on Monday.
Of 110-member Provincial Assembly, Jamkattel has garnered the support of 70 provincial members of five political parties including CPN (MC), CPN-UML, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, CPN (Unified Socialist) and Hamro Party.
