Recently, China is suffering from the worst outbreak of COVID-19, with around 40,000 new cases reported every day. Accordingly, China has taken corresponding strict control measures. However, on the night of November 27, protests appeared in many places creating a storm of public opinion with protest videos, slogans and songs circulating on the Internet.
But the Chinese immediately saw a familiar pattern of the colour revolutions that have played out in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, North Africa, Syria, Hong Kong and elsewhere.
In my opinion, what America is really good at instigating the colour revolution, as every single colour revolution is either initiated or facilitated by the US. The number of countries upended by colour revolutions is endless. On the contrary, when the US sends troops to war, it has suffered more losses, as evidenced by the Korean War, Vietnam War and most recently Afghanistan war.
There have always been signs before the US instigates a colour revolution. For example, before the colour revolution in Hong Kong, the number of diplomatic staff at the US Consulate General in Hong Kong had increased to nearly 2,000, which is out of proportion to the size of Hong Kong.
Please note that the size of the US Embassy in Nepal is out of proportion to the size of the US diplomatic relationship with Nepal. There are reports that the US Embassy in Nepal has more staff than US Embassy in India. At least it looks like the US Embassy in Nepal is huge, with countless NGO staff under its wing.
Now that the MCC clearly states that the US program personnel are not governed by the Nepalese government and are not governed by Nepalese law. They can enter Nepal at any time, in unlimited numbers, and stay for as long as they want. Is this the harbinger of a colour revolution?
