Kathmandu, 13 October: The Election Commission (EC)has asked CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal for an explanation for violating the code of conduct. The EC has asked for an explanation regarding the use of panchebaja (traditional musical performance by five persons )during the registration of nominations in Gorkha Constituency No. 2 on Sunday.
The EC has instructed him to submit an explanation within seven days. It asked Dahal for an explanation based on the audio visual that was made public through social media during the registration of his candidature.
