Kathmandu, 9 October: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited (MBL)has entered its 23rd year. The bank, which was established as a regional bank in Pokhara 22 years ago, has succeeded in establishing itself as an excellent bank among commercial banks in the bygone 22 years. The bank, in a statement, has stated that it was always grateful to its customers for their continued support, cooperation and trust.
To mark the 22nd anniversary, the bank organized a program to honor the employees who have been serving continuously for more than 20 years. Speaking at the event, Chairperson Dr. Birendra Prasad Mahato expressed his sincere gratitude to all the customers, regulatory bodies, shareholders, members, employees and well-wishers who contributed to make the journey successful for 22 years. He expressed his commitment to provide more quality banking services in the coming days as well.
Similarly, Roshan KC, a member of the board of directors, highly appreciated the contribution of late Surya Bahadur KC, the founding chairman of the bank. He congratulated and thanked the customers, regulatory bodies, shareholders, members, all employees and well-wishers who helped the bank to reach present-day position.
Santosh Koirala, Chief Executive Officer of the bank expressed his commitment to continue to support the economic development of the nation by being in the leading position in all aspects including capital, business growth, branch network expansion and job creation with the slogan that the bank is excellent and expanded.
The deputy chief executive officer of the bank, Sarju Kumar Thapa, along with the deputy general manager, Prasiddha Raj Aryal, also thanked everyone who helped to bring the bank to where it is today.

Under this offer, bank customers get 20% or maximum Rs. 300 when ordering food using bank credit card through Foodmandu, 10% or maximum Rs. 100 on first mobile top-up through MBL M SMART, through MBL M SMART every day from 7 AM till 20 Ashwin 2079. 22% or a maximum of 222 rupees will be available for 5 or more transactions of more than 222 within a period of 2 hours till 9 am.
