Kathmandu, 30 September: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has released Rs 1 billion for the payment of Corona claims. Those who claimed Corona insurance will get the amount accordingly.
About a year ago, the insureds who claimed the Corona insurance had not received the payment as the non-life insurance companies that sold Corona insurance policies surrendered to the government that that they were unable to do pay it.
Meanwhile, Regulatory body of insurance, Insurance Board chairman Surya Silwal has stated that Corona claim payments will be processed only after Dasain festival.
