King extends Dasain greetings to all the Nepalis at home and abroad
Kathmandu, 30 September: King Gyanendra has extended Dasain greetings to all the Nepalis at home and abroad. On the fifth day of the Dasain festival on Friday, 30 September, former King Gyanendra, through a video message, said that a political course correction is investable to make a strong Nepal.
Expressing utter dissatisfaction with the present anomalies in all sectors, former King Gyanendra has stated that all Nepalis should be united to save the nation.
King Gyanendra, indicating perversion in the executive, legislature and judiciary, has said that it has affected all the organs. He has urged all to save the nation from being a failed state.
Due to unstable politics, anomalies and corruption have increased in the country, he said.
Unstable politics has brought chaos and distortion in the country, the former King has remarked.
People are not excited and hopeful about the present situation, he said.
The country is seeking the right leadership for establishing rule of law and making the country prosperous and accountable, he said.
Indicating the controversial citizenship law amendment efforts of the government, the King has said that on the one hand, Nepali youths are going abroad, and on the other, efforts are on to invite foreigners into Nepal. Such a situation has invited a worry about converting Nepali nationals into a minority.
Indicating the process of conversion of religion and cultural invasion, the former King expressed worry and asked the Nepali nationals to save the nation.
Nepal, a tiny nation between the two giant nations, has been derailed in its foreign policy, which has invited a serious crisis, said the King.
Nepal has become a playground of the foreigners, he said and added that a sovereign nation should not become a failed state.
