BABBLES

By Babbler
A group of cyber-army recruited by Kulman Ghishing has projected him as an incarnation of God. These days, Ghishing is exhibiting a gimmick that Nepal has started to earn Indian currency by exporting electricity to India. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, in the meantime, is planning to hand over all the big hydropower projects to India saying that India will procure the electricity from Nepal from those projects constructed only by India. This scribe believes that instead of selling electricity to India at a cheap price, the nation should be industrialized through the hydropower provided to the industries at a discounted tariff equal to the price offered to India. But the government, by cutting down electricity to the industries, is supplying it to India. The Udayapur Cement Factory has remained closed due to the shortage of electricity, according to reports. Reports state that the Kulekhani dam has dried up in the process of exporting electricity to India! Sure, we cannot get electricity from Kulekhani as the reservoir has already dried up. What will happen in case of emergency?
Organised corruption
The other day, Maoist Center supremo Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda said that it has become impossible to secure victory in elections without spending money. How much money needed to spend for becoming victorious in elections, he didn’t disclose, however, he knows it. Just recently, he had made the prestige issue for the victory of his daughter Renu to the post of mayor in Bharatpur. The reason is clear, why Prachanda is running behind money and involved in the collection of money through any means – corruption or commission or else!
FM Sharma
The supreme leaders from the five-party alliance are trying their best to save Janardan Sharma from the tax manipulation allegations. Maybe, he will get a clean chit soon and become the Finance Minister again. Sharma is a necessity for the present alliance government for an organized loot on the government coffer. Otherwise, when the Finance Ministry denied providing CC footage, it becomes clear that Sharma is responsible for hanky-panky on the budget.
QUOTES OF THE WEEK
Baburam’s political illusion, Madhav’s party’s uncertain future, Prachanda’s sudden India sojourn, and lauding for the socialist center/front upon his return, all these are interconnected wires. Why did the current flow in these wires only after Prachanda returned from Delhi, it is interesting!
Dr Sundari Pokharel
- Nepal’s kings never betrayed the country and their people. They never created a bloodbath in the name of peace, they never tried to sell the nation as like those wild terrorists. Therefore, I respect the institution of monarchy. I hate Baburam as he has always negative attitude towards the institution of monarchy!
Aditya
- Why don’t those advocates in black coats who heated the streets saying that Cholendra should be impeached, have remained silent? If the government does not bring this matter to the House to discuss, such a practice will certainly have an adverse impact in the future!
Shailendra Thapa
- Rule of law has ended along with politics entered into the court.
Bishnu Pokhrel
- The Home Minister has briefed a report in the party meeting that the Maoists will win 8 seats if they fight alone. A few days ago, Congress leader Meinendra Rizal analyzed that the Maoists will not win more than 8 seats. Needless to talk about the CPN US’s position. And Baburamjee is unable to remain stable in one place due to his unstable nature!
Bishnu Rijal
- 45% of the country’s land area is occupied by forests. Nepal has spent billions on importing forest products like wood/furniture/plywood/paper. A policy of sustainable use of forests to become self-sufficient in these commodities will reduce trade deficits, create jobs, and lower the prices of these commodities. If adopted such a policy, the government will get sustainable credit.
Surya Raj Acharya
- Instead of His Majesty’s government, it has become the Nepal government; a kingdom has become a republic; Rajmarga has turned into Lokmarga; the Royal Nepal Army has become Nepal Army; the Palace property has become private property; a self-reliant Nepal has become imports dominated and depended nation; the industries have been sold away and Nepali youths are seeking job in the Gulf countries! What kind of change is it?
Sarbesh Aryal
- Is Baburamji going to establish a ‘socialist center’ together with Prachanda while keeping the evidence that Prachanda received 9 billion rupees in the Budhi Gandaki project, or has the evidence already been deleted from Baburam’s record? So far, Baburamji believes in new experiments should be conducted in politics.
Sharad Raj Pathak
- To retain on power, the provision of immediate citizenship upon marriage to foreigners has been introduced. I have a serious objection to it. If you agree, please protest such a decision of the political parties!
