Kathmandu, 23 July: A woman has been allegedly murdered by her husband. Kanchimaya Limbu, 54, of Gaigude in Fungling Municipality-9 was beaten to death by her husband.According to the district police office, 56-year-old her husband Bal Bahadur Sanwa Limbu, beat up his wife Kanchimaya during a minor domestic dispute. She died on the spot in the incident that took place on Friday evening. Preliminary police investigation showed that Limbu died when she was hit by the wooden handle of a Khurpa, a domestic cutting tool. Sanwa has been taken into police custody and further investigation is underway.
