Feeding those party workers only

BABBLES

By Babbler

The country’s population is less than 30 million but we have so many political mouths to feed them. They are one president, one vice president, one prime minister, 25 ministers in the federal government, one national assembly chairman, one national assembly vice chairman, 59 national assembly members, one speaker, one vice speaker, 165 directly elected MPs, 110 MPs elected through the proportional election, 7 province assembly chairmen, 7 province assembly vice chairmen, 7 province chiefs, 7 chief ministers, 550 province assembly members, 54 province ministers, 6 mayors of the metropolitan cities, 6 deputy mayors of the metropolitan cities, 11 mayors of the sub-metropolitan cities, 11 deputy mayors of the sub-metropolitan cities, 276 mayors of the municipalities, 276 deputy mayors of the municipalities, 460 chairmen of the rural municipality, 460 vice chairmen of the rural municipalities, 6743 ward chairmen, 26972 ward members. They all receive a monthly salary and allowances. Moreover, they run their secretariats and also the team of advisors. A big portion of the government revenue is spent on salaries for them! It won’t be a surprise if the economy will collapse due to the present political system.

Future of traitors

When India annexed Sikkim, an independent and sovereign Himalayan kingdom, Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi used Lhendup Dorjee. He was treated as a high-profile personality by the Indian government. After accomplishing the job of the annexation of Sikkim, Dorjee’s job was over and he had to face a very humiliating life until his death. Indira Gandhi and her government didn’t trust Dorjee as he was a noted traitor to Sikkim.

Many of the Nepali leaders, who are performing the role of traitor and working for India would face the same fate, sure!

Indian PM Narendra Modi knows better whom to meet or not!

Deuba’s warning

“Don’t tease me!”, NC supremo and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said to his party colleagues. If he is disturbed by the party leaders, has warned that he will amend the party statute and again become the party president. No leader came to challenge Deuba.

After Deuba’s remark in the party central committee meeting, all the NC leaders decided to maintain silence and follow the Deuba path.

The next day, the party decided to develop an electoral alliance with the Communist parties. All said okay.

Those democrats talk about democracy but they are not allowed to exercise democracy in their own party!

Salik Wagle
