Kathmandu, 23 June: Bishnu Pukar Shrestha is appointed Nepal’s ambassador to China by President Bidya Devi Bhandari today under the recommendation of the government.
Shrestha has become the ambassador to China from the Maoist Center’s quota.
Shrestha’s appointment was fallen into controversy due to his association with the Western INGOs advocating human rights.
