Electoral alliance to safeguard constitution!
These days Pushpakamal Dahal, Madhav Nepal, and NC leaders Ramchandra Poudel, Prakashman Singh, Krishna Shitaula are continuously saying that there is a threat from the regressive elements against the present system. An electoral alliance among the offensive forces is the need of the hour to save the constitution!
We all know this is for public consumption but the reality is that these faces have already lost their image among the voters and they don’t dare to go to the voters alone. Therefore, they have developed an unholy political alliance between the democratic and communist forces. Democracy and communism are two different political paths having different political beliefs and goals. Both cannot stay together. As in Nepal, neither there is a genuine democrat nor a genuine communist, they became ready to forge the electoral alliance to make fool the voters!
The sorry state of TIA
After the Covid-19 outbreak, the tourism industry is struggling for revival. Although the number of tourists arriving is very low, a silver lining has appeared on the horizon.
Meanwhile, the Immigration Department has issued a notice asking the tourists arriving in Kathmandu to carry a minimum of 200 US dollars cash along with them as the ATMs around the arrival desk are not properly functioning.
Again, the Immigration Department’s server is not functioning properly and it is consuming more time in the passport checking process.
We make big talks about tourism promotion but we cannot manage properly the only international airport in the country, which is astonishing.
Cannot the government manage good ATMs and powerful servers for the airport?
Increasing salary
The Far Western Province government has decided to increase the salary, allowances and facilities of the chief and other ministers in the government.
This is no more than the attempt to loot the nation further by the gang of looters in the five ruling parties.
