The RPP has reiterated its support for the government but, at the same time, has begun preparations for the next generation election.
That about sums up the outcome of the recent three day meeting of the party’s Central Committee in Kathmandu chaired by RPP chief Surya Bahadur Thapa and attended by 35 others membership of 41.
For the record, the RPP reiterated its support for the government on the grounds of “political stability” saying that the coalition was “the need of the hour”. Yet according to reliable sources, most members of the RPP central committee were also critical of its “lackluster” performance.
