BABBLES

Nepal is a unique country where those political leaders and senior officials enjoy everything from the government coffer but those junior staffers are unable to enjoy the same facility provided to the seniors.
The officials in the Election Commission have already started to receive double the amount to the salary as they are doing preparation works for the local election. On the other hand, there is no allowance for the Nepal Police personnel who are going to be deployed to give security to the voters and also the ballot boxes.
Shrinking Baidhyakhana
The Singhadurwar Baidhyakhana used to be a popular local brand of Aryuvedic medicines in the past. The Baidhyakhana was producing above 150 types of medicines but now it is producing only 11 types of medicines not because the quality is worst but because the Patanjalee and Aryuved companies, both Indian, have dominated the market.
The duty of the staffers at the Baidhyakahana is now to catch flies.
This is a small example of how Nepal has become a foreign dependent nation in all sectors!
The sincerity of the civil servicemen
According to a study, only less than 30 percent of civil servicemen are sincere in their responsibility and duty. The rest, above 70 percent of the government servicemen are dishonest, corrupt and undisciplined. They are categorized into four classes – one, always become closed to the political party in power and being posted to the lucrative places; two, becoming the member of the sister organization of the political parties and roaming around the political leaders instead of doing the job assigned to him; three, always seeking the opportunity for corruption by troubling those who need the service and four, always working for businessmen’s interests even by violating the government laws.
Politics lacking ideology
The Nepali Congress, a democratic force, has decided to develop an election alliance with the radical communist Maoist Center and the reformist communist CPN-US. The NC will ask its voters to cast votes for the MC and US candidates. Simultaneously, the MC and US will ask their voters to cast votes for the NC. What does it mean by running separate political parties then? Let the NC, MC and US announce the unification of the three parties rather than running separate parties!
NC president Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is found saying that an alliance is important for the formation of the government as UML is a strong party and if contested polls individually, the communists may come to the power!
How weak has the NC become! Meanwhile, UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli is challenging the alliance partners saying that as they were unable to defeat UML alone, they have forged an alliance. Be that as it may, Oli claims, UML alone is enough to fight against the alliance. He is claiming that more than 60 percent of the seats that the UML is going to capture in the upcoming local election!
Let’s wait till the elections take place! So far, the political ideology, principles and ethics have been ended in Nepali politics!
QUOTES OF THE WEEK
- Glorious gentlemen, instead of listening to Prakash Saput’s song, watch at the scales of history and present and take your weight today. Do you have the courage? Hats off to Prakash Saput! Courage is needed to look in the mirror.
Rajendra Baniya
Can the comrades who have threatened Prakash Saput listen from the mouth of those widows of the martyrs who were sexually abused by the comrades? Prakashji, don’t shake your legs. The artist is not the only one keeping long hairs and exhibiting thighs.
Swagat Nepal
- Saput has made the story a little easier. In fact, the story should have been written like this: After the revolution, the hero comes to Nepal with his family from Delhi. The heroine is also released from the Bhairabnath Battalion. The two meet at the bottom of Mount Everest.
Santosh Chimoriya
- The political movement that has taken place in Nepal till date is not for social change, all conflicts and movements have been taking place only for a change of power. From the Maoist war, top leaders and their relatives became new feudal, but others lost their dreams and resources. My sympathy for the losers and support for Prakash Saput.
Manish Jha
- Within the first seven months of the Fiscal Year, the Government of Nepal has not been able to spend more than 16 percent of the total development budget. This means that now more than one-thirds of the total development budget seems to be spent within July. This is called “Loot in Asar”
Dr. Prakash C Lohani
- None of the political parties has their political agenda.
The Maoists have not been able to remind their cadres. The UML has no agenda and Oli is reciting Puran, Ramayana, Gita and Mahabharata. The Congress has no hope and it is engaged in convincing people about the MCC.
None of the parties has the plan for the development of industries and becoming self-reliant on agriculture.
Bonus News
- The Philippines, like Nepal, is a country that relied on remittances, but the Philippines exports 60 billion worth of goods annually. Nepal’s exports are limited to 1 billion! We fell because of the crippled National Planning Commission which could not make self-reliant planning! Everyone enjoy their jobs but never do the job!
