Kathmandu,13 March: Agni Group, one of Nepal’s most prominent business groups, held an event to mark the completion of 30 years of its operations. Cabinet Shrestha, MD – Agni Group, thanked all the stakeholders of the company for their continued support and partnerships. “Without our customers, dealer network, partners and our team we would not have come this far. I want to thank each one of them for being a part of the journey and building a legacy together. This is just the beginning, let’s keep growing and cherish the coming years of togetherness,” said Shrestha.
“Agni Group started its operations in 1991 as the authorized distributors of Mahindra utility vehicles and tractors. Today, Agni Group is the premium seller of automobiles, spares & services and is unrivaled in scale and capabilitie and has an extensive network comprising of 71 plus dealers and branches across the country. The company has also diversified into other ventures from logistics to financing with more than 10 companies operating under the group”, added Shrestha.
The event also was highlighted by the handout of the Uday Scholarship Awards. The company provided scholarships to 30 students who have completed their SEE this year to purse higher studies. “While every year we hand out the awards to 25 students, this year we selected 30 students to go with our 30-year celebrations. We are committed to providing an opportunity to deserving students and will continue this award in the coming days as well”, said Bardan Basnet, Deputy Director – Agni Group.
The event was concluded in the presence of the Board of Directors of Agni Group, representatives from Mahindra Group along with well-known personalities from the field of sports, music, and movies.
