Kathmandu, 28 January: In the last 24 hours, an additional 6,827 people have been infected with the corona virus while 10 people have died from corona infection. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the number of deaths due to corona has reached 11, 697 so far.
Similarly, 5,432 patients have been discharged from various health facilities across the country. Currently, there are 89, 941 active cases in the country. Corona infection has been confirmed in another 2,940 people in Kathmandu Valley. According to the MoHP, 2,153 people in Kathmandu, 519 in Lalitpur and 268 in Bhaktapur tested positive for Covid-19.
