Minister Ramkumari Jhakri was one among the leaders who were opposing local leaders receiving the guard of honour from the security officials.
The very minister is seen receiving a guard of honour from a small group of security personnel by standing up on a wooden piece (known as pirka).
Not odd, after all, all the politicos are the same!
Her photo has become viral in social networking outlets.
The tea-stall gossip
In Nepal, there are two permanent chairmen. One is Rishi Dhamala, who is the chairman of the Reporters Club and the other is Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda who is the chairman of the Maoist Center.
Dhamala is the chairman since the founding of the Club and Prachanda is the party chief for the last 32 years.
Dr Arju as Deuba’s special envoy
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is leaving for India for a visit. The government is yet to announce formally the visit. However, Deuba’s spouse, Dr Arju has already reached Delhi for the preparation of the visit.
Normally, in such visits, the foreign minister or senior foreign ministry officials go for an advance visit for the preparation and success of the visit. Deuba, however, chose to send his wife in such an advance visit.
Dr Bhim Rawal, UML leader, and sitting MP has thus questioned, at what status, Deuba had assigned his wife for a diplomatic job!
A relief for Prachanda and Nepal
NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba agreed to give common candidates in the National Assembly elections for 19 seats. Now, the five parties in alliance government will be giving common candidates for sharing seats. Now, there will be an election between the five parties and UML. UML had won eight seats out of 19 seats in the previous elections. There is the chance of UML losing all eight seats due to the alliance among the five parties.
If the political parties in the government contest election separately, they were unable to defeat the UML candidates. And the position of Prachanda and Madhav Nepal could have been exhibited. Deuba, so far, accepting the request of Prachanda and Nepal, has become ready to give common candidates.
Nevertheless, this is an advance deal against the MCC agreement. If Prachanda and Nepal will deny Deuba’s request for rectifying MCC from Parliament, the alliance government may face a strong jolt.
Deuba, through a backdoor channel, has developed contact with UML chair K.P. Oli and if Prachanda and Nepal will perform non-cooperation, in that case, NC may choose UML as the coalition partner and speaker Agni Sapkota may face an impeachment case if he will deny bringing the MCC in the discussion.
Quotes of the Week
To replace imports, production must increase. To increase production, there must be industrialization. Industrialization requires industrial-level electricity. Instead of developing infrastructure for the supply of electricity to the industries, the MCC plans the construction of transmission lines for exporting electricity to India!

Both the Congress and the UML, which are doing politics based on the Maoist agenda, better remove the photos of BP and Pushpalal from their respective party offices and hang Prachanda’s photo.

Prachanda’s inclusive team: From the indigenous ethnic community, daughter-in-law; from female, daughter; from Khas/Arya, brother!
How to make the party inclusive, let’s learn from Prachanda!

People who do not appreciate the contribution of nation-builder Prithvinarayan Shah for the unification of Nepal can never be a true “Nepali”! The person is either a foreigner or a foreign broker!

Most horrible news…how much money do political heads need? Is there any limit to their greed? What else will they sell next?

(Reaction expressed after the government permitted a controversial businessman to run a restaurant inside the Narayanhitty Royal Palace.)
India has published a map covering Nepali lands and has demonstrated nacked dance in the Nepali territory including Nabhi and Gunji.
Unfortunately, the parties in the government have kept their leap tight. The leaders are spending their time slamming their rival leaders!
Isn’t it time to think?
