Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, a former colleague of Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda, now in UML, has alleged that Prachanda has no other concerns except power, post, money and family (shakti, pad, paisa and pariwar).
So far, Rayamajhi had also alleged to his former party boss saying that Prachanda had manipulated a huge amount of money allotted for PLA during their settlement under the comprehensive peace agreement.
Baburam Bhattarai, Prachanda’s other colleague, had also made public that the latter had manipulated billions of rupees allotted for PLA settlement, that is why he had quit the Maoist party!
Maybe, they are true but the government has no courage to investigate such a scandal!
Deuba’s respectful leader Prachanda
Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has commended Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda saying that the nation was able to get the present constitution under the command of Prachanda.
Extending a congratulatory message to the Maoist Center at the inaugural session of the party’s 8th national convention on Sunday, Deuba said that without Prachanda’s contribution, the present constitution was impossible!
It may be recalled that Deuba, by naming Prachanda, was extending thanks to the bosses in Delhi for formulating the 12-point agreement, under which, NC adopted the Maoist agenda.
It may be recalled that the Nepali Congress under the leadership of Girija Prasad Koirala had given up NC’s fundamental principles by adopting the Maoist agenda. Today, NC has adopted the Maoist agenda and perhaps, Deuba’s real leader is Prachanda!
Moreover, Deuba chose the venue to extend his sincere thanks to Prachanda for rewarding him to the post of the PM for the fifth time.
Establishing a record
The chief minister of the Bagmati Province, Rajendra Pandey, has established a new record by introducing an 18-member provincial cabinet.
So far, other chief ministers are also in a race for splitting the existing provincial ministries and assigning more and more ministers just to save the chief minister’s post.
Thanks to the chief ministers for demonstrating the real picture of federalism within a short period of time!
Policy hacking
Janardan Sharma is not an economic expert but he is the finance minister. Since he became the finance minister, in the name of encouraging domestic industries, has changed the customs tariff of some items which would help some industrialists in particular by creating a heavy loss to the nation.
Therefore, these days, economic experts in the ministry have coined a new word, “policy hacking!”
Maybe, the minister is collecting the election fund by developing policies benefiting particular industrialists!
Lalita Niwas politics
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) is waiting for instruction from the upper level to file a case in the court against those who were involved in the scam for capturing the government land in Lalita Niwas, Baluatar, behind the PM’s official quarter.
The present alliance government, instead of taking action against those big leaders, is trying to keep pending the case.
The previous government led by K.P. Sharma Oli had also kept pending the investigation report on the 35 kg gold smuggling case. Those porters were arrested but the main financers were saved under government protection!
Such practices can be possible only during the loktantrik raj!
