Nabil Bank organizes sustainable banking and financial literacy program

Kathmandu, 29 October: Nabil Bank has organized a sustainable banking and financial literacy program in Gajuri, Dhading. The bank has also reached an understanding with Gajuri Municipality for entrepreneurship development and financial access under the sustainable banking programme.

At a function organized at Gajuri in the presence of Asha Rana Adhikari, Board of Directors of the bank, on Thursday, Ganesh Prasad Awasthi, Chief Business Officer and Rajendra Bikram Basnet, Chairman of the Gajuri Rural Municipality signed an MoU on behalf of the bank and the municipality, according to a press release issued by the bank. 

The objective of the partnership is to provide various enterprise-related programs/training at the local level to entrepreneurs who want to start their own enterprises.

Speaking on the occasion, the Board of Directors Adhikari said that the agreement would help in social transformation by creating employment and developing entrepreneurship in Gajuri Rural Municipality.
