KATHMANDU, 8 October: The British government has removed Nepal from the Covid-19 red list.
The British government on Thursday removed 47 countries, including Nepal, from its red list, in line with a schedule for regular international tours. In addition, seven other countries are on the red list. Even if it is removed from the red list, it will be implemented from Monday, i.e. from 11 October, it is mentioned in the information published under the activities related to travel.
Similarly, the UK has recognised vaccines against the Covid-19 used by 37 countries. Those entering the UK from those countries no longer have to stay in quarantine but should go for the Corona test.
The UK government has recognized the four types of corona vaccines that should be taken by the visitors. They include AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson.
The visitors have to produce the certificate that they have been vaccinated with the said vaccines.
Evidence of vaccination with the above-mentioned vaccines has to be submitted while entering the UK from Nepal. Evidence of vaccination from any country can be obtained through NHS Covid Pass, EU Digital Covid Certificate, Disease Control and Prevention Branch Certificate or Certificate of Vaccination provided by the Ministry of Health of the concerned country.
