Kathmandu, 26 September: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has announced his candidacy for party post of President for upcoming 14th General Convention.
At a programme organized to congratulate the newly elected party office bearers of Kathmandu Metropolis Ward-17 on Saturday, he said he wanted to be the first man of the party to take it forward as per the inspiration of party cadres. He said he was devoted to making the party strong in terms of organization building.
Singh accused the party leadership of flouting party principles and procedure. “I worked as Vice-President and General Secretary during the party leadership of Girija Prasad Koirala, Sher Bahadur Deuba and Sushil Koirala. So, I want to work for the party to make it the strongest one,” he reiterated.
