
Kathmandu, 26 September: Warranty of two-set train procured by the Nepal Railway Company(NRC) from India has expired even before they came into operation. It has been a year since the trains were brought to Nepal. They had a year-long warranty, said Niranjan Jha, General Manager of the company.
The company has bought two DEMU(Diesel Electric Multiple Unit) trains, with engines at both sides at the cost of Rs.846.5 million from Konkan Railway Company, an Indian government owned enterprise, according to reports.
