Kathmandu, 24 September: The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order in a writ petition filed against the Ordinance to amend Political Parties Act-2017.
A Constitutional Bench headed by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana issued a show-cause notice to the defendants and asked them to furnish a written reply on the need to issue the ordinance. The writ petition was lodged by advocates Arjun Kumar Aryal, Shakuntala Bhushal, and others.
