Kathmandu, 6 September: As many as 20 persons have succumbed to corona virus and a total of 1,488 new cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours. This was found in a total of 15,979 samples tested including 11,609 through RT-PCR and 4,370 through Antigen tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. This takes the total number of positive cases to 770759 and the death toll to 10,858. Likewise, 1,743 people recovered during the period with the total recoveries reaching 728,928. A total of 18 districts in the country have more than 500 active cases as of today
