Kathmandu, 2 September: Nepal recorded a total of 2,004 new cases of Covid-19 and 16 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 765,914 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,786 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 721,182 with 1,846 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 33,946. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 541 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 152 and 100 respectively.
