Kathmandu, 31 August: Nepal recorded a total of 1,664 new cases of Covid-19 and 24 fatalities in the last 20 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 762,647 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,750 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 716,306 with 1,786 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 35,591. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 413 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 87 and 64 respectively.
