Kathmandu, Aug. 30: As heaps of garbage have been piling up on the roadsides, back alleys, open spaces and people’s homes in the Capital city, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) to immediately make arrangements for collecting garbage of the Kathmandu Valley.
Summoning Mayor Bidhya Sundar Shakya and Deputy Mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi at the official residence of the PM, Deuba , assuring to extend full support and coordination from the Federal government and other concerned government bodies, directed them to make immediate arrangements for garbage collection.
