Kathmandu, 30 August: Senior journalist Dev Prakash Tripathi has launched a new political party Ekikrit Shakti Nepal (Unified Power Nepal) amidst a programme today in Kathmandu. The new party is comprised of senior journalists, former bureaucrats, social workers, cine artists, among others.
The new party aims at the restoration of the Hindu kingdom, good governance and rule of law. Tripathi said that the process for registration of the party at the Election Commission has already been started.
