Kathmandu, 29 August: Nepal recorded a total of 1,214 new cases of Covid-19 and 24 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 759,222 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,714 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 712,712 with 2,260 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 36,866. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 312 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 114 and 52 respectively.
